We believe kids are a vital part of our church family, not just the future church, but the church right now! Anchor Kids is a fun, safe, faith-filled environment where children can discover who Jesus is in a way that is exciting and relevant to them.
Anchor Kids is for children aged 3 years through to Year 8, and runs every Sunday from 10:15am–11:30am throughout the year, with a short break over the summer holidays.
Each Sunday we begin together upstairs in the chapel as part of our wider Anchor family because we love creating a church culture where all generations belong together. After worship, the kids gather together for a fun welcome time before splitting into their age groups.
Our welcome time is one of the highlights of the morning! We spend time:
- Learning and memorising Bible verses together
- Celebrating birthdays and special moments
- Catching up on what the kids have been doing during the week
- Laughing, connecting, and building friendships as a church family
Around twice each term, our church has all-of-church services, where the children stay in the chapel with the wider church family as we worship and learn together across generations.
For Parents
Our Anchor Kids team is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment where your children can thrive. Every week includes age-appropriate teaching, interactive activities, games, discussion, and prayer. We also provide water, fruit, and a biscuit.
We want every child to feel known, included, and excited to come to church.
Parents are always welcome to stay and be part of the programme, or you can relax and enjoy the main church service upstairs.

Jellybeans (Ages 3–6)
Jellybeans is our fun and nurturing preschool and early primary group where little ones can learn about Jesus in a safe, playful, and caring environment.
Our mornings include:
- Bible stories
- Music
- Crafts and hands-on activities
- Games and free play
- Simple teaching designed especially for little hearts and minds
Our team loves helping children feel safe, loved, confident, and excited to come to church each week.
Juniors (Ages 6–10)
Our Juniors programme is full of energy, conversation, and fun. Kids learn about Jesus through games, reading the Bible, crafts, team activities, and heaps of fun with friends.
We love helping kids:
- Learn about God in a real and exciting way
- Find fun in faith
- Connect together and build friendships
Expect noise, laughter, and good conversation
Intermediates (Ages 11–13)
Our Intermediate group is designed especially for pre-teens who are beginning to ask bigger questions.
This space is relaxed, welcoming, and engaging — with discussion-based teaching, games, real conversations, and opportunities to grow in faith.
We want our intermediates to know:
- They belong
- Questions and curiosity are welcome
- Faith can be real and personal
Whether they’re outgoing or quiet, sporty or creative, there’s a place for them here.
Creche
There is also a crèche available for families with young children aged from 0-3. This runs during the church service.
