If you want to know more of what we are about then
The Anchor Church and The Trust which owns the facilities (Whitby Bible Chapel Management Trust are both registered charitable organisations.
The Church Constitution
This governs the operating of the church and is a requirement for being a registered charity. It includes the broad principles of how the church operates, and a statement of faith and key practices.
The Trust Deed
This governs the operation of the Trust. Trustees are selected from church members and the elders. The Trust manages the facilities and hires them out to community group.

Missions Strategy
We commit a share of our funds to support Christian mission both in New Zealand and internationally.
Working with Children
Key people who work with children and youth at The Anchor Church are required to have a police check completed. This is completed by the Church office. The results are confidential, only to be used for this purpose and will be destroyed when no longer required.

Statement on the Role of Men and Women
This is a widely discussed area and there are a wide range of views held by godly people. We produced this statement after quite a bit of discussion, submissions from church members and a good deal of prayer and study. It represents a position to enable us to work together as a church but recognising that we individually may hold different views in this area.
