The main speaker will be Andy Elred.  Andy describes himself as the husband of one wife, Justine (a Kiwi) and father of three children, Eden, Julian and Leon. He was born and raised in the USA and had a career as a rock musician before he became a follower Jesus and began the adventure of ministry.  His ministry began in Youth With A Mission and then with the large non-denominational Abundant Life Church in Hillsborough, North Carolina, where he worked as youth pastor and Minister of Evangelism. Music has always played a role in Andy’s ministry whether leading worship, doing gospel concerts or playing in pubs, he has found music a great way of meeting people and introducing people to Christ.  Andy and Justine moved into full-time mission work on the streets of Massachusetts with a ministry called Steiger International, where they led a team that ministered to those on the margins of society: punks, skaters, Goths, hippies, gang members and university professors etc. Andy has ministered at conferences, camps, retreats, workshops, houses, the streets, cafes, pubs and even churches.

In 2003 the Eldred family moved to Waikanae New Zealand where Andy served as youth pastor with the Waikanae Anglican Parish. He was ordained into the Priesthood in 2007 and is now serving as the Vicar of Greytown. He still loves Jesus and his wife and kids and still plays music.  Justine Eldred is currently studying creative writing and is nearly finished with her first novel.

The kids programme  will be led by the one and only Ray Cooper – the kids will love him.
