With Anchor Men we have some specific things in mind
We want to connect, encourage and build relationships that reflect Christ in our community.
The things we value include connecting all generations both in and outside of the church, to encourage men to be courageous, strong and to grow in their faith, to build strong relationships that foster accountability, to reflect Christ in our works, words and conduct, and to love each other as Christ loves us.

One thing that happens regularly is the Mens Breakfast. On the first Saturday of the month some of the men from three Whitby churches have breakfast together. During the morning topics relevant to men are presented, we help on housebuilds with Habitat for Humanity and sometimes get out to give someone in need a hand.
We have had presentations on Transmission Gully, the RSA, Open Doors, some of our local GPs, local city councillors, and Peter Jackson’s pilot!
